The Kallos Festival is a festival that aims to highlight mainly contemporary creations based on artistic currents such as post minimalism, new complexity and totalism (term provided by author and composer Kyle Gann ). But also in other modern trends that do bring creative vanguardism and development but they are idioms to which the sense of unpretentious beauty returns, free from stylistic or academic constraints. The theme we want to present as an inaugural year is based on the phenomenon of the great contemporary living female creators. Through the collaboration of composers, performers and musical ensembles, we plan to showcase this awesome new generation of women who are literally revolutionizing and evolving the modern arts (in this particular case in music and visual arts).
